![]() ![]() This is the worst part of the game in my opinion. With Soul Calibur VI on the other hand it's just a simple press meaning there's no visual cue a player is about to use one. Sure, you could predict my move and start doing it ahead of time, but the action of doing a double quater circle animation can be seen on the way a character moves before the special animation begins. For example, if I throw a kick in street fighter, you'd have to have the reflexes and finger speed of a God to react to it and pull off a double quarter circle punch before the hit lands. Now I know Street Fighter games have specials that work in a similar manner, but those require multiple button inputs, making them much harder to pull off. Having them assigned to one button combined with the fact that they beat any attack mid animation just makes it too easy to pull off. Now I know these aren't new to Soul Calibur VI but I didn't much care for them in V either tbh. Feel free to disagree with me and call me a cunt, (not that you needed my permission anyway) but imo these moves are completely broken and ruin the flow of Soul Calibur. Ok, so need to vent this somewhere and here's as good a place as any, so here we go. ![]()
